Using creative masking techniques and our highly-experienced paint and coatings team, we provide consistent, uniform coatings for even the most technical and complicated multi-process parts.
With creative masking techniques and a long history of masking experience, our paint department can handle very technical and extremely complicated multi-process parts. Housed within a 12,000 square foot building this department consists of three large paint booths and three large ovens. The paint department is diversified in that we can spray all types of paint from fuel tank coatings and dry film lubricants, as well as powder coatings. Our paint department is continually developing new techniques to improve and speed up the masking and painting process to give our customers the most value and best service possible.
After completion of preparation and pretreatment of parts, they are ready for primer application. Primary is typical on many of our parts either as the final requirement or the first step prior to application of a top coat. Top coats come in a variety of colors, shades, and gloss and
+View detailsPowder Coating is a coating formed by the use of a powder that is electrostatically applied to a part. It allows for a consistent thickness and can be built up thickness beyond the point that liquid paints would adhere. It is set or cured at elevated temperatures to allow it
+View detailsDry Film Coatings are used in many applications where customers want to add lubrication to items such as threads and commonly used on many aerospace fasteners. They are solid materials which lower the friction and resistance between interacting surfaces. The embedded materials in the films, such as graphite, slip across
+View detailsFuel Tank Coatings are made to endure the harsh corrosiveness of fuel contaminants in the fuel tank and other harsh chemical environments. They are usually chemically cured and provide maximum protection from fuels, oils, salt water, and hydraulic fluid.
+View detailsSol-Gel is a specialized coating used primarily on aluminum and titanium to prevent corrosion and promote paint adhesion. It is sprayed onto parts as liquid that has been activated to form bonds on a molecular basis across the coating. The resulting structure is a dense, thin protective film on aerospace
+View detailsTeflon coatings are precision applied coatings that handle the specific abrasion and environmental conditions that exist in the aerospace industry. They are typically applied at thicknesses of 0.0005”, a low coefficient of friction, and are chemically inert. Teflon coatings are used on high use and wear surfaces on such items
